WELCOME TO THE SAN DIEGO TOYS FOR TOTS OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Thank you for your interest in the 2023 San Diego Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign and for considering us to be your charity to support this year!  We are very thankful to have received such a generous response from the community in 2022. Please take a few moments to navigate through the website for most frequently asked questions. Every minute spent on the phone or answering emails is a minute taken away from serving the children.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Covid-19 Related Important Information

Boxes and promotional items are available for pick up.  Our hours of operation to distribute the boxes are Mondays through Friday from 8am-11am and 1pm-4pm at our warehouse. The location is 9955 Pomerado Rd. San Diego, CA 92131 at the Naval Marine Corps Reserve Center.  At the gate, state that you are here to pick up boxes.

IMPORTANT: Due to base security measures, unregistered site visits for any reason will not be accepted. The coordinator or assistant coordinator must be contacted prior to any Toys for Tots related business being conducted at the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center. Toy donations past December 15th must be delivered to local fire stations as they will not be accepted on base. For monetary donations past December 15th, please contact the coordinator directly.

How to get started?
Simple...

First, decide how you'd like to contribute.  You can coordinate a toy drive in your community, volunteer your time in the warehouse, or provide a monetary donation to support our effort in providing toys to children.

If you are hosting your own toy drive, be sure to bring the toys collected back to our warehouse (Naval Marine Corps Reserve Center) or to any San Diego Fire Department

Note: Toy requests for individual families are all facilitated through local nonprofit organizations of the San Diego County area. We do not personally work with individual families due to the volume of requests we get. If you are interested in receiving toys for your family, please contact your local social welfare organizaion to register with Toys for Tots.
